Chelsea’s Senior Portraits

Ah Spring…

I’m such a sucker for flowers.  I think that’s one of the many reasons Spring is my favorite time of year to shoot.  The world is waking up and everything is green and colorful.  One of the privileges my work brings my way every year is the opportunity to photograph seniors.  There are few things that mean as much to me and impact me so deeply as the joy I feel when I’m able to show someone how beautiful they really are.  That moment when my shutter closes and I pull the camera away from my face and I’m so giddy with what I see on my camera that I’ll let a them have a sneak peek.  The second when they see themselves is when I see the astonishment of  “wow! I really do look good”  that melts away the jitters and insecurities.  I think more women/girls need to be reminded of this and to feel that feeling on a regular basis BUT that is a story for another day 🙂  Anyhow… with that said!

This is Chelsea!  I used to babysit this sweet girl oh, ten or so years ago.  I was so jazzed when I got an email from her mom asking me to come out to Jackson for her session.  I loved the locations Chelsea had ready for me.  Everyone is a little shy in front the camera at first.  I for sure am.  She quickly overcame this and smiled and posed like a pro.

Here is the lovely Chelsea’s senior portrait session.

Enjoy!
