Four years ago I ventured out and started the journey of being a full time self employed entrepreneur artist.  There are few things as scary and fulfilling as to get your paperwork that say, “Official business, Sarah Dawson Photography”.  It all started from a trip I took to Paris in 2008 with a group of photographers.

When I look back at that trip and what it did to me, I can’t deny that Paris holds a special place in my heart.  I can’t get enough of it.  I am a ::little:: obsessed with it.  Aside from realizing my dream of becoming a photographer was an actual tangible reality… it also opened my mind to a whole new world.  It’s true with the saying that the richness of life is best lived through “the places you go, the people you meet, the books you read” and Paris was the stepping stone to this path.

Paris is a whimsical place full of art, culture, food.   I also realized it was a place for dreamers…  and that I am.

In two weeks I am taking another journey there.  Some time for me, some time for my heart and some time to dream.
